The Mong Duong Thermal Power Plant is a part of the Power Generation Corporation 3 (Vietnam Electricity – EVN), officially put into operation and commercially generating electricity since 2015. The Mong Duong thermal power plant is considered to be one of the most modern and large scale thermal power projects in Vietnam today. Power here is produced in a safe, efficient, and environmentally friendly manner.The Mong Duong Thermal Power Company is the first thermal power project of EVN to use the circulating fluidized bed (CFB) boiler technology – the most advanced technology in the world today, with an advantage over using bad coal with low calorific value. This way it helps to reduce the emission of ash into the environment.
