The pulp and paper industry holds an important position in our economy. However, the increasing demand for paper will always be accompanied by environmental concerns that need to be addressed, especially about the wastewater which is generated during the pulp-paper production process. Along with the installation of automatic monitoring stations, further digital transformation by updating and enhancing the environmental monitoring software is a solution that is chosen by many companies.

The Saigon Paper Joint Stock Company is the leading paper producing company in Vietnam, with two simultaneous product lines: one for consumer paper and one for industrial paper. By using modern and environmentally friendly technology, Saigon Paper is committed to providing paper products of the highest quality to satisfy the needs of its customers, while at the same time preserving a ‘green’ environment.

The Saigon Paper’s factory is located in My Xuan A industrial park, Tan Thanh district in the province of Ba Ria Vung Tau. The factory contains 6 consumer paper production lines and 5 industrial paper production lines, all with modern machinery and equipment, imported from the US and Europe. The factory is also equipped with the largest and most modern wastewater treatment system in the paper industry in Vietnam (with a capacity of 17,000 m3/day).

The Saigon Paper company has completed the installation and put into use monitoring equipment and an automatic monitoring system, comprising of:

  • 2  emissions stations

  • 1 wastewater station
