The Thuan An Wastewater Treatment Plant, with a capacity of 17,000 m³/day, collects wastewater and domestic waste from over 1,700 households across five wards in Thuan An Town, Binh Duong Province.
The project, invested by the Binh Duong Water and Environment Corporation , aims to improve and protect the water environment in Binh Duong Province, with a total investment of 2,457 billion VND (equivalent to 12 billion Japanese Yen). Of this, 85% of the investment comes from ODA funds provided by the Japanese government, while the remaining 15% is funded by the local budget.
The Thuan An Wastewater Treatment Plant covers an area of 3,163 hectares and is equipped with a 290,000-meter-long pipeline system. This network connects 19,587 households through 17 pumping stations, channeling wastewater and domestic waste to the treatment plant. After being processed through filtration systems, the wastewater meets Class A standards (National Technical Regulation on Domestic Wastewater) and is discharged into the environment, ensuring no pollution or adverse impact on the residents' daily lives.
