Key Responsibilities

Product Feature Design (60% of time)

  • Take ownership of the end-to-end feature design process, including:

    1. Gathering requirements from Product Manager / Product Owner.

    2. Analyzing business flows and use cases.

    3. Designing wireframes, prototypes, and detailed UI/UX.

    4. Conducting user testing and refining based on feedback.

  • Designing for multiple platforms (web app, mobile, tablet) with high complexity (dashboards, reports, real-time charts, etc.).

  • Build and maintain a scalable and consistent design system.

Research & Analysis (10% of time)

  • Conduct user research: interviews, surveys, usability testing, and field observation.

  • Analyze user behavior with tracking tools (e.g., Hotjar, Google Analytics).

  • Evaluate and improve user experience based on both quantitative and qualitative data.

Design Strategy & Vision (20% of time)

  • Collaborate with the Head of Product to shape the overall design vision for the product.

  • Propose long-term UI/UX development directions and future user experience strategies (design direction).

  • Create and maintain UX principles and product design guidelines to ensure scalable and consistent product growth.

Mentorship & Team Development (5% of time)

  • Mentor and coach other designers in the team (Mid-level, Junior).

  • Contribute to building design processes, internal documentation, and design standards.

  • Serve as a technical authority within the product team.

Cross-functional Collaboration (5% of time)

  • Work closely with Product, Development, QA, Customer Success, and Sales teams.

  • Present prototypes/mockups and communicate design concepts to stakeholders.

  • Ensure design ideas are well understood and accurately implemented.

Nice-to-Have

  1. Experience in designing SaaS, IoT, or products in the environmental/energy sectors.
  2. Skills in motion/animation UI design.
  3. Hands-on experience with user behavior tracking tools (Hotjar, Google Analytics).
  4. Ability to read and understand technical documents and work closely with the development team.

Skills and Experience

  1. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Design, Information Technology, or related fields.

  2. 5–8 years of experience in UI/UX design, including at least 2 years in a senior role.

  3. Extensive experience with design tools such as Figma, Sketch, and Adobe Creative Suite.

  4. Strong knowledge of UX research, information architecture, and interaction design.

  5. Proven experience in building and managing design systems.

  6. Strong leadership and project management skills.

  7. Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions.

  8. Excellent communication and presentation skills.

  9. Solid understanding of software development processes and ability to work effectively with engineers.

  10. Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
