One Member Limited Liability Company Lam Dong Aluminum - TKV (LDA) is a state-owned enterprise under the Vietnam National Coal and Mineral Industries Group (TKV). Established in 1982, LDA is headquartered in Zone 4, Loc Thang Town, Bao Lam District, Lam Dong Province.
The former Lam Dong Bauxite Company - TKV, a branch of the Vietnam National Coal and Mineral Industries Group, was restructured into a branch of LDA and renamed the Mining and Processing Enterprise. Additionally, a new branch, the Alumina Plant, was established.
On October 29, 2013, the Vietnam National Coal and Mineral Industries Group approved a reorganization plan for LDA, terminating the operation of the company's branches and transitioning to a single-tier management model from November 1, 2013.

LDA operates as a single-member limited liability company with 100% state capital and a charter capital of VND 1,800 billion. The company is classified as a tier-1 enterprise, functioning under a single-tier management structure comprising 11 management departments, 11 production workshops, and one affiliated enterprise. The company employs a total of 1,420 staff members.
History of Establishment and Development
- 2010: Established pursuant to Decision No. 2350/QD-HDTV dated September 30, 2010, as a state-owned enterprise under the Vietnam National Coal and Mineral Industries Group (TKV).
- 2013: Transitioned from a two-tier to a single-tier management model, taking over and mastering the technology of the plant complexes.
- 2014: Achieved stable operations, reached and exceeded design capacity, becoming Vietnam's first alumina-aluminum producer.

- July 26, 2008: Groundbreaking ceremony for the Alumina Plant of the Lam Dong Bauxite Aluminum Complex.
- August 18, 2009: Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung visited the Lam Dong Bauxite Aluminum Complex and attended the resettlement house handover ceremony for poor households in Bao Lam District, built by the Vietnam National Coal and Mineral Industries Group.
- December 25, 2012: The Alumina Plant produced its first alumina product. On December 29, 2012, the Vietnam National Coal and Mineral Industries Group, in cooperation with contractor Chalieco, celebrated the first ton of alumina produced by the Lam Dong Bauxite Aluminum Complex, marking the advent of Vietnam's alumina-aluminum industry.
- May 25, 2013: The Vietnam National Coal and Mineral Industries Group exported the first shipment of alumina via the BK BOSS vessel at Go Dau Port, Dong Nai.
- August 15, 2014: The Vietnam National Coal and Mineral Industries Group reviewed one year of alumina production and sales in Bao Loc City, Lam Dong.
