The conference discussed and proposed solutions such as: Communication, use of information media, social networks for each specific audience: Children, teenagers, pupils, students, members, Union members, people, agencies, units, businesses, religious establishments; Applying technology in collecting, managing, classifying and treating household solid waste.

Especially the problem of plastic waste; Use biotechnology to recycle and reuse organic waste and produce compost; applying information technology in solid waste management and handling administrative violations in the field of environmental protection; Using world-class advanced technology in solid waste management, collection and treatment; Urban planning, appropriate arrangement of solid waste transfer points, reasonable arrangement of public trash bins on densely populated roads and streets; setting an example, creating an effect of attracting volunteers and people to participate in environmental sanitation and promoting the self-management role of people, implementing community-based models of participation in environmental protection...

According to Venerable Thich Nhuan Hanh, Deputy Chief of the Office of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in Ho Chi Minh City, in recent times, religious organizations have actively participated in action programs to protect the environment and respond to climate change. climate change through many specific activities of each religion; Mobilize dignitaries and believers to commit to participating in environmental protection, planting trees, and not using materials and means to create toxic products.

According to Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Phuoc, Chairman of the City Union of Science and Technology Associations, from 2021 up to now, the City has reviewed and recorded 568 pollution points arising from waste backlogs, cleared 505 points, reaching rate of 98%, of which 198 points were converted into community living areas (parks, flower gardens, sports playgrounds...).

Speaking at the conclusion of the Conference, Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the City Tran Kim Yen affirmed: "This campaign is very good and meaningful. The wishes of the agencies and units. That is, keeping the city clean and green is not only the responsibility of the State management agency but must mobilize all people, businesses, organizations... to participate. It is these joint actions that contribute to making The campaign brings more practical results."

Ms. Yen also requested party committees, authorities, Fatherland Front at all levels, and socio-political organizations to pay attention to research and implementation of a number of contents such as: Promoting and regularly maintaining dialogue and propaganda work. and mobilize people, workers, organizations and businesses to participate in environmental protection at localities, agencies and units in many rich and diverse forms. Organize propaganda and campaigns to all people, households, small businesses at local markets, and waste generators to reduce the use of single-use plastic products and non-biodegradable plastic bags, and increase the use of raw materials. Recycled materials and products, environmentally friendly, encourage packaging and bags multiple times.
