Yen Binh Industrial Zone

The Yen Binh Industrial Zone, invested by Yen Binh Investment and Development Joint Stock Company, with a total investment of over 3,820 billion Vietnamese dong, is located in Pho Yen City and Phu Binh District, Thai Nguyen Province. The Yen Binh Industrial Zone project is planned with a construction area of 693 hectares divided into 2 phases. Specifically, the workshop area covers 320 hectares, the vacant land area is 80 hectares, and the green area accounts for 20% of the project's land fund with a total investment of up to 3,820 billion Vietnamese dong.

By the beginning of 2023, Yen Binh Investment and Development Joint Stock Company had invested nearly 4,500 billion Vietnamese dong in the Yen Binh Industrial Zone. This includes 1,175 billion Vietnamese dong invested in constructing a clean water plant with a capacity of 150,000m³/day and a wastewater treatment plant with a capacity of 60,000m³/day.

In addition to leading in attracting foreign direct investment (FDI), the Yen Binh Industrial Zone, under the management of Yen Binh Investment and Development Joint Stock Company, is also recognized for its excellent implementation of environmental protection investment tasks.

Currently, the Yen Binh Industrial Zone has attracted 30 large enterprises to invest in production and business development. Among them, there are 18 FDI enterprises, with a total registered capital of nearly 8 billion USD (accounting for over 75% of the total FDI capital in the province) and 12 domestic enterprises, with a total registered capital of over 4,400 billion Vietnamese dong.

The company always prioritizes environmental protection investment tasks in the industrial zone, focusing on operating procedures and installing early warning systems to strictly implement national standards for wastewater.

With the commitment of both the investor and the operating enterprises in the industrial zone, the surrounding environment is protected and maintained stable. The Yen Binh Industrial Zone has attracted many large enterprises, including FDI, and continues to contribute to the economic and environmental development of the locality.

According to the assessment of the leaders of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment, the Yen Binh Industrial Zone is one of the units that implement environmental protection tasks well in accordance with legal regulations. Currently, in the Yen Binh Industrial Zone, 100% of active projects have completed environmental documentation. Yen Binh is also one of the 3 industrial zones in the province confirmed to have completed environmental protection works; one of the 4 operating industrial zones with centralized wastewater treatment systems meeting environmental standards.
