Khu công nghiệp chuyên sâu Phú Mỹ 3 là một trong hai dự án khu công nghiệp kiểu mẫu nằm trong Thỏa thuận Hợp tác & Phát triển được ký kết giữa Chính phủ Việt Nam và Chính phủ Nhật Bản vào tháng 11 năm 2011. Nhờ tận dụng và phát huy những lợi thế về vị trí và tài nguyên có sẵn, Công ty CP Thanh Bình Phú Mỹ – chủ dự án KCN chuyên sâu Phú Mỹ 3 đã biến một vùng đất trũng, ngập mặn thành chốn tọa lạc của một dự án đặc biệt quan trọng của tỉnh Bà Rịa – Vũng Tàu nói riêng, và Khu kinh tế trọng điểm phía Nam nói chung. Cụ thể, tính đến cuối năm 2021, KCN chuyên sâu Phú Mỹ 3 đã thu hút được 27 nhà đầu tư với tổng vốn đầu tư hơn 33.000.000 tỷ đồng và vẫn đang tiếp tục xây dựng để trở thành điểm đến hấp dẫn của các thương hiệu quốc tế từ nhiều quốc gia như Nhật Bản, Hoa Kỳ… Bên cạnh việc tăng trưởng về kinh tế, KCN chuyên sâu Phú Mỹ 3 luôn dành sự quan tâm đặc biệt đến môi trường, và thực hiện tốt các trách nhiệm xã hội để góp phần xây dựng hình ảnh doanh nghiệp vì sự phát triển bền vững.
