Yen Phong industrial zone environmental protection
Yen Phong Industrial Zone has always been at the forefront of attracting foreign investment. Especially, they have effectively implemented the contents directly related to environmental protection in the industrial zone according to the Environmental Protection Law 2020, which has been effective since the beginning of 2022.
Yen Binh Industrial Zone's current status of wastewater treatment
As of early 2023, Yen Binh Development Investment Corporation has invested nearly 4,500 billion VND in Yen Binh Industrial Zone, including 1,175 billion VND in the construction of a clean water plant with a capacity of 150,000 cubic meters per day and night and a wastewater treatment plant with a capacity of 60,000 cubic meters per day and night.
To effectively treat wastewater in the industrial zone, the company has focused on constructing and completing a centralized wastewater treatment area and installing an automatic monitoring system, with a total investment capital of nearly 600 billion VND. The wastewater treatment system is planned on an area of nearly 7 hectares, with a capacity of 60,000 cubic meters of wastewater per day and night, and is constructed using modern technology and equipment from Japan, with a high level of automation.
In addition, to monitor and address issues related to the wastewater treatment system at Yen Binh Industrial Zone, the investor Yen Binh Development Investment Corporation has deployed the use of the iLotusLand software to manage and monitor the wastewater monitoring data of the wastewater treatment facility.
