Challenge

Formosa Dong Nai is essentially a complex of yarn factories - plastic beads - thermal power plants built on an area of nearly 300 hectares in Nhon Trach 3 industrial zone, Dong Nai. The large scale of the project also brings some difficulties in the data connection process: to centralize data to the center, it is necessary to connect monitoring station data from 7 factories and factories in 7 other areas. There are factories up to 10km apart.

In addition, the equipment used in the installation and connection of the monitoring station was supplied by various suppliers, re-delivered and installed in several stages, contributing to the challenge of distance.

Technically, iLotusLand must build a solution to connect devices and focus on the central Siemens PLC system, from which data transmission is centralized to the software.

However, overcoming the obstacles, the iLotusLand team completed the assigned tasks and achieved the desired results in just 1 month of implementation.

The solution for monitoring wastewate

To meet Formosa's centralized monitoring needs, iLotusLand has launched solutions focusing on online monitoring, data collection and reporting. In addition, iLotusLand software also adds features to simplify management, specifically as follows:

• Monitor real-time data from 2 different sources: power data (transmitted from SQL Server) and environmental parameters (transmitted from Datalogger).

• Environmental monitoring signals are monitored online and transmitted to the local Departments of Natural Resources and Environment in full according to regulations with FTP protocol according to the Circular.

• The results of periodic wastewater monitoring are within the limits allowed by current standards with effective online monitoring and automatic alerts to support timely troubleshooting related to data and equipment.

• The system uses a Siemens S7-1500 PLC optimized for technological functionality to communicate with the iLotusLand software on the cloud platform, in real time.

• Integration of surveillance cameras at the monitoring stations directly on the software ensures accurate, objective, and transparent reflection of parameters and management work.
