Hoa Phat Dung Quat Steel Corporation was established in February 2017 and is the investor in the construction and operation of the Hoa Phat Steel Production Complex in Dung Quat Economic Zone, Quang Ngai Province. With a production capacity of 4 million tons per year, primarily producing construction steel, high-quality rolled steel, and hot-rolled steel, the plants have encountered unforeseen issues related to noise, emissions, and dust since they began operations. The enterprise has installed 18 automated environmental monitoring systems within the plant and construction sites, including:

• 3 wastewater monitoring stations
• 12 air quality monitoring stations
• 3 Raw water monitoring stations

Current Status

The automatic wastewater monitoring system will continuously and automatically monitor parameters such as CO, SO2, NOx, Total dust, FlowOUT, FlowIN, Environmental discharge, DustOUT, TSS, pH, BOD, Temp, and Flow. The wastewater monitoring data is recorded and transmitted to the central station in accordance with current legal regulations. The data transmission system is located at the wastewater monitoring station, and the signal is input into the data transmission device, which is taken before being input into the monitoring system at the factory to ensure the original signal.
