Organizing the Sao Khue 2023 Award Ceremony

On April 28, the Vietnam Software and IT Services Association (VINASA) held a ceremony to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Sao Khuê Awards and to honor and present the Sao Khuê Awards for 2023.

The award ceremony was held under the patronage of the Ministry of Information and Communications. The event was attended by Mr. Nguyen Manh Hung, Central Committee Member of the Communist Party, Minister of Information and Communications; leaders from the Ministry of Science and Technology, Ministry of Home Affairs, Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry, as well as over 500 delegates, including leaders and staff from more than 100 digital technology companies with honored products and services.

Sao Khuê 2023 Award received 331 nominations from 215 enterprises. After three rounds of selection and judging, the award evaluation board decided to grant 182 Sao Khuê Awards for 2023. Among these awards, there are 15 digital platforms, 22 pioneering technology solution services, 2 digital startups, 38 digital services, and 105 outstanding digital solutions. Notably, in 2023, there were 11 nominations rated as 5-star Sao Khuê Awards, and 10 exceptional nominations were awarded the Top 10 Sao Khuê Awards for 2023.

The Sao Khue Award - A Catalyst for Future Information Technology Products and Services

Looking ahead to the next 10 years for Vietnam's software industry and the Sao Khuê Awards, Minister Nguyen Manh Hung emphasizes: "Ultimately, its purpose must be to drive digital economic development, which means it must become a force for the overall economic growth. It should be the driving force for Vietnam to become a high-income developed country in the middle of the 21st century."

Vietnamese software should be the driving force for the country's economic growth. The awards should honor products, services, and information technology businesses that have contributed to digital economic growth in various sectors, including industry, agriculture, and services.

For Vietnam's economy to develop rapidly and sustainably, it must rely on the digital economy. The digital economy needs to be the main driver for fast and sustainable growth in Vietnam. It is projected to grow at a rate 3-4 times faster than GDP growth and is expected to account for 20-25% of GDP by 2025. The development of the digital economy has become a national strategy.
