Vinh Tan Thermal Power Company is responsible for managing and operating 2 power plants: the Vinh Tan 2 Thermal Power Plant and the Vinh Tan 2 Solar Power Plant. In addition, the company also executes different projects (like the import of coal and oil, or the shared infrastructure projects) to ensure stable operation of the various factories inside the Vinh Tan Power Center. Vinh Tan 2 Thermal Power Plant is an investment by Electricity Vietnam and is managed by Power Generation Corporation 3 (EVNGENCO 3). Total investment capital is nearly 23,500 billion VND. This includes two units, where each unit has a capacity of 622MW. The Vinh Tan 2 thermal power station plays an important role in the power supply to the South of Vietnam.
